Sterling silver cake plate. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1922. Circular with raised central circle radiating soft lines. Rests on short foot. Rim and foot rim have shallow scalloping. A subtle conflation of sturdy Craftsman and geometric Art Deco. Hallmark includes pattern no. 20015 (first produced in 1922), director s letter m (1907-47), and phrase Special Hand Work. Very good condition and patina.
