One of the first garments we ever made, we’ve maintained and improved upon the classic tri top with our Contender 2.0 Triathlon Top. Most tri tops ignore the crucial interaction of arm and fabric at the high-chafe region of the armpit (which is even more true for women, where the fabric of a sports bra will also pass through), and we’ve solved this problem by optimizing the size of the arm opening. If you prefer the shoulders-free feeling of the classic triathlon look, this is the top for you.
Designed for the Professional
How do you improve upon tradition? For us it meant making sure the Contender Triathlon Top stays in place, with a hem gripper that actually keeps it from riding up during the ride. Our aerodynamic rear pockets make storage simple and fast, and the the ¾ zipper provides breathing relief on the swim and the run.
The Fastest Fabrics
We use a Teflon-treated fabric to protect you from the sun, and our carbon mesh fabric on the rear of the triathlon top to keep you cool. It’s supportive where it needs to be, but allows the freedom of movement you’d expect from a tri top (but so seldom find).

Our designers come from a diverse set of backgrounds, but they share the same vision: making you look like the coolest person for miles. Our iconic look got that way by defying the staid looks we saw around the triathlon and cycling world, and we continue to innovate each season. After our artists make the look, our seamsters and seamstresses build the garment by hand in our Vista, California factory, living our claim to Made in the USA.
Your Second Skin
Comfort is king where a triathlon top is concerned, and with so little actual fabric in this type of garment, we had to make every stitch and panel count. We’re confident the Aero Contender Triathlon Jersey will lend you the comfort and speed you want during the different moments of your race, and you’ll be happy about the sun protection following the race (but you’re gonna have to remember the sunblock for your shoulders on your own—we can’t help you there).
