Description
L’Anatra smoking pipe weighing in at 1.8ozs from a collection owned by a dear old friend of 45 years.
Hand Made In Italy.
This beauty is not self-sitting and another real work of art.
Aside from the inner bowl, slight char there is
No sign of wear to speak of. Stem looks Near Mint.
The entire exterior is like New Old Stock.
Doesn’t look broken in to me.
I have not cleaned or sanitized this pipe.
It’s become obvious that my friend cleaned his pipes before he retired them to their pipe stand in the study.
This box was found in a box in a storage room with a few other L’Anatra boxes from this period. I did the best I could with the process of elimination matching pipes to boxes. This was one of two boxes that have two RQ Dates: 12/16/2013 and 2/21/2014. I certainly can’t guarantee this is the original box to this very pipe, but it’s close.
Measures: 6-1/4″…total length.
1-1/2″…tall.
Chamber I.D. is 3/4″
Chamber is about 1′ deep.
Total Weight…1.8 ozs.
